Stephen A. Smith tears the monologue of “ gang maga ” by Jimmy Kimmel on Charlie Kirk 8 days after the death of the conservative activist

Thursday, when he appeared on “Straight Shooter”, Stephen A. Smith spoke of the monologue of Jimmy Kimmel on the death of Charlie Kirk, who had Kimmel’s show removed.
He asked:
“Where was the joke?”

Smith said that the end of evening hosts like Kimmel are supposed to transform the news into a comedy, and not eliminate the humor of a tragedy.

He added:
“Because you are a host at the end of the evening, and obviously it has a comic attachment. Where was the joke? Obviously, it was nothing funny on this subject.”
Kimmel’s monologue was broadcast on Monday, just over a week after the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Kimmel continued the supporters of Donald Trump, accusing them of having tried to hide the political ties of the killer and to twist history.
He called their “new” actions.
Then he made fun of Trump’s reaction on the death of Kirk, comparing Trump’s conversation on the construction of a ballroom in the way a child cries a pet.
Kimmel also joked about the alleged 200 million Trump luster and suggested that he could try to distract people from the Epstein list.
The backlash was quick.
The episode was withdrawn and Wednesday, ABC, owned by Disney, announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live! would be suspended indefinitely.
Charlie Kirk, 31, a conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot dead on September 10 while he was speaking at the University of Utah Valley. He answered a question on armed violence and transgender problems when a shooter pulled over a roof at around 130 meters, striking it in the neck.
Kirk was transported urgently to the hospital, but died shortly after an emergency surgery.
Donald Trump approved Stephen A. Smith to go to the presidency
In May, during a town hall organized by Chris Cuomo, the commentator Bill O’Reilly called Donald Trump and asked if he had advice for Stephen A. Smith.
Trump said:
“I would love to see him run. He’s a good guy, an intelligent guy.… He has great entertainment skills, which is very important. I love to look at it. “
On May 3, during “The Stephen A. Smith Show”, the ESPN analyst reacted to Trump’s words.
He said:
“No matter what some of you think about it, it is still the President of the United States. And if the President of the United States says something like that, it matters.”
But he also specified it:
“I have never been a politician, I was never interested in being a politician.”
The next day, on May 4, Smith again spoke of CNN’s “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper.
He said:
“I was dismayed to be completely honest with you. I was not looking for any kind of approval from anyone, especially him. But he is the president of the United States, there is a little flattery which has just obtained such words from the man who occupies the highest office in the country, and I can appreciate it. ”
Stephen A. Smith also publicly declared that he had voted for Kamala Harris in the last elections.
Donald Trump won the 2024 American presidential election on November 5, 2024.
