Stephen A. Smith speaks “possible”

While the DEMS try to set up a return for 2028, Stephen A. Smith still flirts with the idea of a presidential campaign.
While appearing on In real time with Bill MaherThe NBA analyst admitted that although he “cannot imagine” presenting himself to the presidency, he has a “possible” option for him after previous discussions on a pivot of public service.
“Listen, life is beautiful, guy. I mean, I leave the door open,” he told Maher. “I can’t imagine doing it, but I haven’t excluded it, because I am disgusted with what I see on the left.”
Smith added: “I look at the national voice of the Democratic Party, it’s nonexistent. As far as I’m concerned, a fucking construction worker could gain democratic appointment at the moment, as bad as for the Democratic Party. They would better collect their act. And excuse my language, but they are in a new leadership. ”
In April, Smith shared an article on the speculation of his political plans, confirming that he “officially leaves all the doors open” for a 2028 race. “It’s time to stop playing,” he wrote in part. “Hates the idea of being a politician. But sick of this waste.”
Smith later told Deadline that he had “no intention” to come to the presidency. “I leave my options open, but in the same breath, I have no desire to be a politician,” he said in May.
“I live a very good life. I just signed a new contract with ESPN. I play on General hospital NOW. I act on Law and order“Continued Smith.” My life is damn good. Why would I ruin it by being a politician? It is therefore my initial answer. But, in the end, you never know what God has planned for you, so you leave your options open, and that’s what I do. “”
The interview intervened after Deadline reported in March that he had signed a 100 million dollars over five years with ESPN. In June, he also signed to host two new shows for Siriusxm.
