Harris Yulin, the acclaimed actor who played in Broadway productions such as Hedda Gabler, the price, the visit And Look on the rhine And in movies Scarface, clear and present danger, ghostbusters, And Training dayAmong other things, died on June 10 in New York City at heart arrest. He was 88 years old.
His death was announced by his family and his manager Sue Leibman.
Born on November 5, 1937 in Los Angeles, Yulin made his debut on stage in New York in 1963 in James Saunders’ The next time I will sing you. He would not make his debut on Broadway before 1980 when he played in a renaissance of Lillian Hellman’s Look at the Rhine. Yulin also directed and taught in Juilliard for eight years, and the Graduate School of the Arts at Columbia University and HB studios in Manhattan.
During the weeks preceding his death, Yulin was preparing to start production this week in a main role in the MGM + series produced MGRIED MGM + American classic With Kevin Kline and Laura Linney.
