The arc is a modern Thor Classic in more ways than one, especially for the way he skillfully uses the list of Marvel Asgardians. Of course, Loki plays a central role and a morally questionable role, as with his Thor film appearances; It is not quite a villain, but not exactly a hero either, a narrative territory that MCU fans know.
“King Thor”
