Spurs teenager with over 400 goals could save Paratici millions

After joining Tottenham Hotspur at the age of 15, very few people would have heard of Harry Kane, but almost two decades later he is now one of the most talked about talismans in world football.
He emerged through North London’s youth system, before earning a place in the first team and subsequently breaking numerous long-standing club records.
There is no doubt that the most impressive is his tally of 280 goals for the Lilywhites, a figure which makes him the top scorer in the club’s 143-year history.
However, he has since moved to Bayern Munich and has maintained his incredible record in Germany, scoring 103 goals in his 106 outings in all competitions following his £82 million move in 2023.
Everyone knows Kane for his remarkable efforts in front of goal these days, but many are unaware of his tremendous rise as a youngster, which led to his world-class status.

Harry Kane’s youth record at Tottenham
Unlike many of today’s footballers, Kane’s journey to stardom was not straightforward, with many bumps and transitions appearing throughout his journey to professional success.
He previously played for rivals Arsenal as a youngster but was released by the Gunners for being “too chubby” – but Spurs gave him a golden opportunity to continue his career at 15.
His rise was rapid for the Lilywhites, who secured a scholarship just a year after his arrival – an often unheard of feat given the strong competition for a career in professional football.
However, his success was all the more remarkable as he moved from his original role as a midfielder to a center forward, but such a move would prove to be an immediate success.
Tangible success was seen in his first year at U18 level, as Kane scored a phenomenal return of 18 goals in just 22 outings, leading to his first first team appearance in 2009/10.
There has been no looking back for the England international since, but who will be the next player to make a name for himself among the Lilywhites’ impressive academy?
The player who could be the next Kane for Spurs
Following Fabio Paratici’s return to Spurs this week, it would come as no surprise to anyone if the Italian attempted to hit the market for a new talisman in the coming months.
Richarlison has shown signs of promise in recent months, scoring three times in the Premier League, but he has struggled to live up to the expectations placed on him by Thomas Frank in recent weeks.
The Brazilian is now without a goal in his last four outings, with his compatriot Dominic Solanke also unable to produce the desired effect due to his ongoing difficulties with his ankle.
The aforementioned duo cost the club over £115 million in total, but ultimately failed to deliver the goods on a consistent basis – with Paratici needing to rectify that situation.
He could easily save the club millions in the coming years if they put their faith in academy star Ashiah Haughton-Sinclair, with the teenager a player with a huge future in north London.
At just 14 years old, it may seem like he’ll have to wait a while for a first-team opportunity, but there’s no reason why he can’t force himself to make decisions, given his staggering record.
It is claimed the teenager has already amassed more than 400 goals at various academic levels, with his name now one of the biggest talking points behind the scenes in north London.
He has been playing above his age group in recent seasons, with Haughton-Sinclair often playing for the U15 and U16 teams in the early months of 2025/26.
Last season alone he scored 65 goals, but he continued his incredible goalscoring exploits this time around, already finding the back of the net on 30 occasions.
He also provided ten assists to his teenage teammates, bringing his total to 40 combined goals – a simply remarkable feat considering it’s only October.
Due to his tremendous form, Haughton-Sinclair was recently named in the England U15 squad, capping off what has been a sensational few months for the youngster.
There is no doubt that he still has a long way to go before establishing himself in professional football, but he has already secured a scholarship two years ahead of schedule, a testament to the confidence the club has in him.
If he continues on his current path of development, there is no reason why he cannot be the next big star to come out of the Lilywhites academy and potentially reach the levels achieved by Kane.
