Spurs start the talks to force the signature “world class”

Despite a 100% first league start as a manager of Tottenham Hotspur, Thomas Frank still wants to add to his team to strengthen the options at his disposal.
The dane has already splashed 85 million pounds sterling on new additions to date, with Mohammed Kudus the most expensive signature – costing 55 million pounds sterling by West Ham United.
The addition of Ghanaian big money has already turned out to be valid, marking two assists in the triumph of the opening day on Burnley in northern London.
Joao Palhinha has already been added to the ranks, strengthening the options in the heart of the team – already impressive just like Kudus – marking in the victory on Manchester City at Etihad.
However, other new arrivals should be added to the middle of Frank to provide talents and a necessary depth, the transfer date of September 1 approaching rapidly.
Spurs Hunt for a new midfielder this summer
In an attempt to strengthen the midfielder’s department, the Spurs prepared a move to the Leicester City star, Bilal El Khannouss – with the Moroccan ready to leave the foxes before the summer deadline.
It seemed to be ready for a move to Crystal Palace, but his transfer to the Eagles collapsed in recent days – opening the door to a passage north of London.
However, another name has been thrown into the mixture lately, with the Marseille star, Adrien Rabiot, a player in sight, according to reports from France.
He indicates that the Lilywhites participated in preliminary talks with the player’s representatives about a move in northern London after being informed that he was free to leave Ligue 1 outfit after an exchange of changing rooms.
It has also already been reported that the French could be available for as little as 20 million euros (15 million pounds sterling), AC Milan and Aston Villa also interested in the signing of the former Juventus star.
Why the last target of the Spurs would be Frank’s response to rice
Fans of the Spurs would have raised the eyebrows when the local arsenal rivals spent a 105 million pounds sterling to land the Declan Rice midfielder in the summer of 2023.
However, as difficult as it is for the faithful of Lilywhites to admit it, it was a superb addition for the Gunners, by scoring 16 goals and 20 assists in its 105 outings to the Emirates.
The 26 -year -old was triumphant in six of his 17 appearances against the Lilywhites, often offering a real presence in the middle of the park during these meetings.
Its nature of box-to-box allows it to have a real impact on procedures at both ends of the field-but if Frank had to get its own version of English, it would probably cost a Penny enough.
However, a case for Rabiot could allow the club to win its own version of Rice, the French with various qualities similar to the old star of West Ham United.
The Marseille star was labeled as a player similar to the Gunners star by Fbref according to their figures last season, managing to surpass him in many key areas of the process.
Rabiot, who was labeled “world class” by former French star David Trezeguet, published more goals and combined aid, offering Lilywhites a threat of additional scorer if he reproduces such figures.

He also managed to impress by finding other teammates, by marking a higher completion of passes, with more of his efforts by 90 in the last third – offering added opportunities of Kudus in front of the lens.
Without the ball, Rabiot was just as dominant, reaching a higher tackle success rate, while doing more interceptions by 90-undoubtedly a more global box-tobox option than Arsenal Star, Rice.
Given the statistics produced by the 30 -year -old during the 2024/25 campaign, the transfer fees of 15 million pounds sterling would be a good deal – having the necessary experience in the Champions League for the Frank team before their European adventure.
If he can reproduce such levels in the high flight of England, the French would be a superb signature and which can give the manager his response to Rice – and a good deal to this.
