Spotify releases music without loss for premium subscribers

Spotify finally publishes an audio without loss for premium subscribers, announced on Wednesday the company, finally launching one of the most awaited features of the streaming service over four years after Spotify announced for the first time a plan for Hifi in February 2021.
“The wait is finally over; we are so excited that lossless sound takes place in premium subscribers,” said Gustav Gyllenhammar, vice-president, Subpify subscriptions in a statement. “We have taken the time to build this feature in a way that favors quality, ease of use and clarity at each stage, so you always know what’s going on under the hood. With Lossless, our premium users will now have an even better listening experience.”
The offer without loss of Spotify occurs four years after its biggest competitor, Apple Music, has introduced free music without loss to all its users in May 2021. Amazon Music quickly followed suit after Apple’s announcement, and Spotify subscribers had interviewed since when they also get the functionality.
The reports have surfaced for years since the initial announcement of Hifi on functionality finally coming to Spotify, some suggesting that Spotify explored the better quality audio offer as a more expensive subscription offer. This clearly did not happen, because without loss is offered to Premium subscribers at no additional cost.
Spotify said on Wednesday that users would be informed of Lossless because they were available to them. The company said that Australia, Austria, Cheche, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, the United States and the United Kingdom are all starting to obtain without loss now, and Spotify said it was planning to deploy the 50 market functionality around the world until October.
Once the subscribers have been informed that the functionality has been made available to them, they can activate without loss by going to their profile and going to the quality of the media in their contexts. Spotify recommends using without loss when connected to Wi-Fi and using wired headphones and non-bluetooth speakers. Bluetooth, said Spotify, does not provide enough bandwidth for loss.
