SpaceX launches 24 Stellites Starlink on Falcon 9 Rocket by Vandenberg SFB – SpaceFlight Now

SpaceX launched its latest share of Vandenberg SPACE Force Starlink V2 satellites in California on Friday.

The Starlink 17-6 mission will add 24 other satellites to the constellation of the low terrestrial orbit. With a success of this mission, SpaceX will have launched more than 1,800 of its Starlink satellites in 2025 only. In an article on social networks, SpaceX confirmed the deployment of satellites just over an hour after the launch.

The takeoff of the Espace 4 East launch complex occurred at 10 a.m. 04 pdt (1:04 p.m. EDT / 1704 UTC). It will be the 27th launch of Vandenberg Starlink this year.

SpaceX used the Falcon 9 recall tail number in first step B1081 to launch this mission, its 17th vol. Its previous launches included the rhythm of NASA, the NASA tracers and the crew-7.

Almost 8.5 minutes after takeoff, B1081 landed on the droneship, “of course I still love you”. It was the 146th Booster Landing on this ship and the 491st Booster Landing to date.
