The third SpaceX shot in the 10th flight of starship starships on Tuesday occurs 24 hours after poor weather conditions forced the company to interrupt the takeoff of its South Texas site.
The evening test will be a crucial step for Elon Musk’s ambitious plans to use Starship to bring astronauts to the moon and, finally, conquer Mars.
On Monday, after the test was interrupted, SpaceX said on X, “down today’s flight attempt due to the weather. The Starship team determines the next best opportunity to fly.”
SpaceX said on Sunday that the first attempt had been abandoned due to underground system problems.

Starship has faced a series of reverses in its development phase, including several ardent explosions.
Flights 7, 8 and 9 ended with a failure after takeoff earlier this year, and another rocket exploded on a test stand in June.
Initially, SpaceX appeared with hope as Monday’s test flight approaches and shared a message on X.
“Count until the tenth starship flight test. The weather is currently 55% favorable for the launch at the start of the window,” said the post.
Despite the failures, SpaceX continued and said that each setback was part of the learning curve for the most powerful 403 -foot rocket in the world.
