Soulja Boy arrested in Los Angeles for accusations of firearms

Soulja Boy, the rapper born Deandre Cortez Way, was arrested on Sunday morning for being a criminal sentenced in possession of a firearm. Way was a passenger in the vehicle.
The rapper, who is best known for his successful single “Crank That”, has already been ordered to pay $ 4 million for a sexual battery in April.
Soulja Boy was tried responsible for sexual assault and physically and emotionally abuse of a former assistant earlier this year. He was accused of having locked the woman, identified as Jane Doe, “in her room without hot water for three days” and sexually assaulting her several times. Doe filed his pursuit against the rapper in 2021.
“We are happy that our client was justified and the jury believed that his claims of physical and sexual assault. We are impatient to move on to the phase of punitive damages of the case,” said Doe’s lawyer at the time.
In 2019, Soulja Boy was arrested for violation of probation relating to a conviction in 2014 of arms. He was sentenced to 240 days in prison and 265 hours of community service.
