Sotheby’s to auction Eddie Van Van Halen 1982 Kramer Electric Guitar

A piece of rock history should hit the block.

The 1982 electric guitar of the rocker Eddie Van Halen in 1982 will be auctioned by New York of Sotheby during the inaugural week of the house from October 21 to 28. The guitar will be exhibited in Monterey, California, from August 13 to 16, a date that coincides with RM Sotheby’s Monterey Auctions. He will mark the first time that the guitar has been seen in public in more than 40 years since Van Halen played it for the last time in concert.
