Sony would be defined to publish a PS5 dualsense controller updated with a removable battery

A new version of the DualSense controller should be published soon, according to a new report.

The Polish site PPE.PL says that Sony works on a revised version of the PlayStation 5 Pro with a revised dualsense controller.

The site quotes its source like Graczdari, which, according to him, revealed correctly that Microsoft Flight Simulator came on PS5 and disclosed the box in the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered.

According to the source, the new DualSense controller, known internally as DualSense V3, will be launched in November and will have a removable battery.

Although this has not been clarified in more detail, the label seems to suggest that this does not mean the possibility of using AA batteries, but rather a rechargeable battery similar to that already in current DualSense controllers, with the possibility of replacing it with a new one (or potentially with a higher capacity) if necessary.

The report indicates that the revised dualsense will be published in November and will replace the DualSense controllers currently on sale at retailers.

As for the revised PlayStation 5 Pro, the report suggests that it will be a minor revision which will use 3% less power than the current model and will include one of the revised dualsense controllers.

While Sony publishes major overhaul of its consoles at each generation – such as the “thin” design of PS5 and the PS5 Pro – it also releases more minor revisions with very few announcements or brass bands.

The most recent example of this is the new PlayStation 5 Edition console, which will now include 825 GB of storage space instead of 1 TB.

A recent comparison video has also shown that the new digital edition PS5 has a fully matt finish, as opposed to the previous model which had shiny finishes on the upper half of the white shell and the entire central black section.

British retailers have greatly reduced the 1 TB Slim consoles before the arrival of the 825 GB version, many retailers currently selling digital edition for £ 100 reduction.
