Tom Holland will again compete as Spider-Man for Spider-Man: A new day, And Sony Pictures teases his new costume.
In a shared video on social networks, the film studio has shared an overview of what the Holland costume will look like in the latest superhero film.
“Something brand new happens … #Spideranday”, reads the post.
The teaser was shared the Spider-Man Day, which is on August 1, the anniversary of the first appearance of Spider-Man in Amazing Fantasy # 15 by Marvel Comics in 1962.
In a recent interview, Holland expressed his enthusiasm about his return to the MCU and playing Peter Parker again.
“I am obviously on the moon and so excited,” he said on the YouTube Flip Your Wig series. “Playing Spider-Man is like spending time with an old boyfriend. And I think we were really limited with what we could do in the last film because of Covid; we shot the whole film on scenes.”
He continued: “Now we will really rely on this old-fashioned cinema and turn in real places, which is why we start in Glasgow and we are going to use the streets of Glasgow to build this massive set that we are assessing. So, it will want to make manufacturing to make manufacturing. [2017’s] Spider-man 1 Again. It’s been so long since I have done it, it will feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think fans will be on the moon with what we are looking for. “”
Spider-Man: A new day should bring back to theaters on July 31, 2026. The film will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, which also made Shang-chi and the legend of the ten rings.
