Some north Georgia schools closed Tuesday, online learning days planned due to winter weather | List

BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. — Several north Georgia school districts are responding by changing their end-of-day schedules for Monday and could potentially be impacted Tuesday as a winter weather advisory has been issued in the area.
THE Winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday for the following northern Georgia counties: Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Dawson, Towns, Union, Lumpkin and White.
Flurries and flurries are falling across northern Georgia from Tennessee as cold Arctic air spreads across the state. Snow showers have already started and snow showers may increase as the afternoon progresses. These snow showers will fall quickly enough to produce light accumulations, especially on grassy and elevated areas along the higher elevations.
