“So Tony Khan didn’t check if he had a non-compete” – Fans go wild after Andrade allegedly broke a major WWE rule

Online fans erupted after recent reports surfaced that Andrade was apparently in violation of his contract with WWE.
Andrade’s name has been making the rounds recently following the latest reports that the Mexican star violated a key WWE clause. El Idolo left the Stamford-based promotion and joined AEW, making a shocking return on Dynamite’s Sixth Anniversary earlier this month to attack Kenny Omega. However, the former NXT Champion has not been seen on AEW shows since. Recently, the reason for his absence was apparently revealed: he allegedly violated World Wrestling Entertainment’s 90-day non-compete clause, leading the promotion to issue a cease and desist order against the Mexican star. Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez announced the news while speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Following the news, fans went wild over X, with many questioning the report itself, saying it was impossible for AEW and Tony Khan to overlook such an important detail.

Other fans also blamed the sports entertainment giant for the situation, calling the promotion petty and urging them to drop it.
Don Callis explains why he added former WWE star Andrade to his group
Andrade’s return to AEW following WWE’s release wasn’t out of the realm of possibility. However, what caught the attention of the wrestling world was his quick alignment with one of the promotion’s main factions, the Don Callis family. Recently, the group’s leader, Don Callis, spoke to X himself to explain his decision to bring in El Idolo, saying that their mutual dislike of Kenny Omega was the main reason.
“ANDRADE ADAPTS THE DON CALLIS FAMILY INTO A T-SHIRT!! GREAT ATHLETE, TOP GENETICS INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTUD WRESTLER WHO HATES THE DUMB F**K KENNY OMEGA. TYSON SMITH NEEDS TO BE PUT TO THE GROUND”
Given the current situation with Andrade seemingly embroiled in a legal battle with World Wrestling Entertainment, it will be interesting to see when he can return to AEW programming.
