FORECAST
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Rain, sleet and snow will change to all snow overnight. Untreated roads will be slippery and snowy, especially after midnight. Most will see between 2 and 4 inches of snow, with totals decreasing to less than an inch south of the KY Parkways.
Snow will leave the area by sunrise tomorrow, but the ALERT DAY will continue as travel issues persist due to snow falling overnight.
The weather will be cloudy and cold on Tuesday; most areas appear to stay below freezing all day. Clouds clear somewhat Tuesday evening, allowing temperatures to drop to 15°C and 20°C.
Black ice may develop on any wet, untreated roads that refreeze Wednesday morning. Cold Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the 30s.
An arctic front moves in late Wednesday evening with a series of light snowfall and flurries. Additional chances for light snow will come back into play by Sunday.
