Singapore Airlines provides new flight schedule changes for winter 2025-26

SINGAPORE- The best carrier in the world, Singapore Airlines (SQ), has filed theft changes in its northern calendar of winter 2025-26, detailing aircraft changes, route suspensions and frequency adjustments on several destinations.

These changes, in force at the end of October 2025 at the beginning of March 2026, aimed to optimize the use of the fleet and to meet seasonal demand.

The notable changes in the route affect cities, including Auckland (AKL), Frankfurt (FRA), London Heathrow (LHR) and Seoul Incheon (ICN), with several long-haul services by seeing improvements or demarcations in the type of plane.

Singapore Airlines flight changes

For the northern period of winter 2025-26, Singapore Airlines makes precise adjustments to better align its operations on the planned travel trends.

From January 18, 2026, the Singapore – Auckland (AKL) route will see the SQ285 / 286 service improved towards the Airbus A380, joining the daily flights A350 and 777-300er on this road. This change improves the capacity on a long-haul long-haired track.

The non -stop service of Singapore – Barcelona (BCN) will be suspended from February 3, 2026 to March 5, 2026. However, connectivity to Barcelona will be maintained via the Singapore (SIN) – Milan Malpensa (MXP) – Barcelona (BCN), which will go from 3 to 5 weeks of flights, using the A350-900.

In Europe, major changes affect Frankfurt (FRA), where the services without stop will drop from 7 to 13 weekly from January 18, 2026. The A350-900 will operate these flights, while the SQ326 / 325 services will go from the A380 to 777-300ER.

London Heathrow (LHR) and Milan Malpensa (MXP) are also faced with temporary service discounts in February and March.

Aircraft exchanges and suspensions

In regional operations, Singapore Airlines brings changes to the type of aircraft and temporary suspensions to improve operational efficiency.

From October 26, 2025, the A350-900 planes will replace the 787-10 originally on the channels of Singapore – Denpasar (DPS) and Singapore – Kuala Lumpur (Kul). Similar exchanges are underway on the services of Hong Kong (HKG) and Manila (MNL).

Several Roads of South Korea will see the suspensions of services. The SQ612 / 611 in Seoul Incheon (ICN) will be interrupted from January 12 to February 8, 2026, while SQ606 / 605 will be suspended from February 23 to March 13, 2026, reducing Seoul frequencies from four to three per day.

Meanwhile, Singapore – Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) Seasonal SQ872 / 873 will resume on February 2, 2026 with four weekly A350-900 flights, increasing the total service from 14 to 18 each week.

In Japan, the services in Sapporo (CTS) resume seasonially on November 30, 2025, culminating at 7 each week by the end of the year.

Optimizations of the international and regional route

Singapore Airlines will deploy its A380 on the Singapore – Shanghai Pudong road (PVG) from February 1, 2026, replacing the 777-300er to meet higher demand.

Meanwhile, the service of Christchurch (CHC) will extend to 11 weekly flights during the high season from November 24, 2025 to February 13, 2026.

The itinerary of Singapore – Beijing Daxing (PKX) will be suspended from January 5 to February 1, 2026, while certain flights to Beijing Capital (PEK) will also be canceled at the end of 2025.

The frequency of Busan (PUS) will go from four to six weekly from October 28, 2025, then increased daily from February 1, 2026.

In South Asia, Colombo flights (CMB) will reach 10 weekly from January 6, 2026. Additional services will be operated by the A350-900, increasing the capacity of this increasing market.
