The Salle du Marié XG is in the shadow of downtown Indianapolis and is less than a mile of Gainbridge Fieldhouse, La Maison des Pacers.

Indianapolis – Indiana Pacers fans were raised after Thursday’s victory against Oklahoma City Thunder sent blue and gold to match 7 of the 2025 NBA final.

“I grew up in a fan of the Knicks, I will not even lie,” said Drew Ervin, master hairdresser in the XG Groom Room. “But they changed their mind. I had to convert, and I am happy to have done it.”

The hair salon is in the shadow of the downtown Indianapolis and less than a mile of Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the house of the Pacers.

“We have been here for about five years,” said Erwin. “We welcome everyone here.”

Ervin and his colleagues Barbiers do not hesitate to proud Pacers, with posters and flags displayed in the shop.

Friday, Darion Walker was working at the reception.

“Oh, not at all sleep,” said Walker. “We had a chance as a fighter. That’s all we wanted, it was a bit of hope and a chance.”

“I didn’t think we would arrive in match 7,” said Ervin. “I wanted them to really go there and really drop him off, and they did it!”

The fourth year Tyler Fischl lives with his family in Indianapolis. Friday, his father brought him to Xg Groom Room.

Tyler says that match 7 rests on the shoulders of his favorite player, Tyrese Haliburton.

“This is how we are going to win this match,” said Tyler, “because if he hurts, that’s how the crowd is going to be nervous. This is how we are likely to lose, because Shai Alexander could set fire.”

Pacers fans say that this year’s team is a tight and clear unit. It’s the same thing in the groom XG.

“It’s like a family,” said Walker. “These are people, barbers. Not only their skills, but they are very good people.”

“Oh, Ernie Johnson came here about a week ago or about a week and a half ago,” said Ervin. “He had a haircut and shouted us on TNT, and since then we have been overwhelmed by people from the whole Indiana.”

“Difficult to believe, 25,” said Walker. “We waited a long time for that. It’s 0-0. That the best team wins.”

Match 7 of the NBA final between the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder is Sunday, June 22. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.

“When we click on all cylinders, we are a very difficult team to beat,” said Walker.

“Just continue this momentum and keep this spirit of the Pacers,” said Ervin. “We can certainly remove it.”
