Shubman Gill refers to an additional spinner in Birmingham, maintains the suspense on Kuldeep Yadav

Shubman Gill confirmed that India was considering a second spinner in Edgbaston. But kept the lid on the spin combination.
The Indian Cricket team will have a rare opportunity in the 2nd Ind Vs Eng test when it will go with two spinners in England. Gill admitted that an additional spinner in Leeds would have helped in the fourth round. And by learning of this, India is likely to go with two spinners to EDGbaston. However, Captain Shubman Gill kept suspense on the second tweaker. India has three spinners at their disposal – Ravira will Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar.
Jadeja did not have a good time in Leeds despite the most bowling. With Kuldeep, India may have to sacrifice a stimulator to accommodate Chinese. If India was going with Washington Sundar, it is likely that Jadeja be deposited by India by playing XI.
“We estimated in Leeds that an additional spinner would help to contain the racing flow, especially in the third or fourth inning. We take the call this evening after having evaluated the pitch one last time. I do not think it will be a direct exchange, but that would not change the combination. We decided spinner but want to see the field one last time,” Shubman Gill said at the press conference before the match before the Ind VS Eng Edgbaston test.
Who are the two Filators of India?
Raviund Jadeja played 47 overs in two rounds in Headingley, but could not pick up a counter. Although he was used as a retention spinner, he disclosed races at a saving rate of 4.30 in 2nd rounds. It was far from being defensive. With the bat, Jadeja could only mark 11 and 25, providing no cushion with the stick of India.
Although Washington Sundar is not tried and tested in England, its recent shape could help Shubman Gill and head coach Gautam Gambir to make a decision. Sundar can beat longer. He scored half a century in Melbourne, adding a 127-point stand with Nitish Reddy for the eighth ticket office. But for it to arrive, India must drop Jadeja, who had trouble in the countries of Sena.
The other option from which everyone has delighted is Kuldeep Yadav. He has the very support of the former captain of England Kevin Pietersen, who worked with him in the Capitals of Delhi. Even the old Raichandran Ashwin, Off-Spinner of India, supported it to appear in the test of Ind VS Eng Edgbaston.
“Kuldeep Yadav must play. If there is not a lot of grass, Kuldeep must play. Place anyone you want, but Kuldeep must play. If he plays, the tail in England will not score a lot of points. Kuldeep would help you win 2-3 tests in the series because he would create problems”, “ Ashwin said on his YouTube channel, Ash ki baat.
