The skipper of national India Cricket Team Test Shubman Gill broke a record of all time of the legendary Sunil Gavaskar with his performances on the tour in England.
Shubman Gill was formidable in the Anderson-Stendulkar trophy underway 2025 against the national cricket team of England and has become the most efficient in India.

Shubman Gill arrives on the 732 points of Sunil Gavaskar against the Antilles
Since he took over the management of the Indian test team, Gill looked in Beast mode with the bat, and he completely transformed his game in the purest form of the cricket.
Shubman Gill has considerably improved his record in testing matches abroad with his sensational performances in the series of five game tests in progress and put his name in the history books.
From the first match in Headingley in Leeds, Gill looks superb with the bat and constantly scored races for India, ensuring that the contributions of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are not missed.
The 25 -year -old has recorded scores of 147, 8, 269, 161, 16, 6, 12 and 103 in the first eight heats and is currently undefeated at 15 * during the current test match at the Oval in London.

Speaking on Sky Sports, the legendary Australian skipper Ricky Ponting has provided rich praise on Shubman Gill for hitting Joe Root in the first sleeves of the oval test match.
Ricky Ponting underlined how the Indian skipper took “certain modes of dismissal outside the equation” and showed a proactive striker. He developed:
“Joe Root spoke last week to withdraw certain modes of dismissal from the equation. This is what Gill tries to do here, hitting his fold so far.
“He identified that Woakes pursue him with LBW, so if he takes a step forward, everything that strikes him on the cushion could be outside the line.
“It also puts Woakes on its length because the launcher must now bring it back and the balls can now review the strains. He is a good proactive striker of the captain of India.”
