AMC makes a big change for Interview with the vampire For the third season of the show. The basic cast remains, as is the Rolin Jones showrunner, but the series is underway The Lestat vampire.
The change, announced on Saturday in Comic-Con, marks a change in the series based on the Chronicles vampire novels of Anne Rice. Seasons one and two of Interview with the vampireInspired by Rice’s first novel, focused on the relationship between Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) and the vampire who returned it, Lioncourt Lestat (Sam Reid), with Louis telling his story to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).
Season three will go to the point of view of Lestat, while the character of Reid becomes a rock star and tries to recover his story of the way in which Louis told it, inspired by the second novel by Rice in the series (also called The Lestat vampire).
With Reid, Anderson and Bogosian, Delainey Hayles (Cluadia) and Assad Zaman (Armand) will resume their roles in the new season, scheduled for 2026. The Lestat vampire also threw Jennifer Ehle (Lioness, zero black thirty) Like Gabriella, Ella Ballentine like Bébé Jenks, Jeanine Serralles (Apples never fall) Like Chrrstine Claire, Christopher Heyerdahl (Under the sky banner) Like Marius and Damien Atkins as Magnus.
Also in Comic-Con, AMC announced a date of first October 26 for TalamascaThe third series of the Anne Rice universe of Cable and Streaming Outlet (MAYFAIR witches is the other). The show focuses on a secret society that follows and contains witches, vampires and other creatures. Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Elizabeth McGovern and Celine Buckens Star; Bogosian will make an invited appearance as Molloy, and Jason Schwartzman also guest stars.
