Shilo’s Rebecca Ferguson Brings Chris Pratt to Justice in Stunning First ‘Mercy’ Trailer

Chris Pratt has been extremely busy this year with his work filming the new season of The list of terminals and featured in its first offshoot, Black Wolfbut now his next project has just received an exciting first look. Pratt was chosen to play alongside Rebecca Ferguson (Silo) And Annabelle Wallis (Clever) In Mercythe upcoming sci-fi crime thriller that hits theaters on January 23. Amazon MGM has officially released the first trailer Mercywhich was first announced in early 2024. Now, almost two years later, its official debut is closer than ever.

Route details on Mercy are being kept under wraps, but the film reportedly follows a veteran detective accused of a heinous crime and then forced to prove his innocence. Marco van Belle wrote the screenplay for MercyAnd Timur Bekmambetov went behind the camera to direct the film. Belle has only written one screenplay in her career, published 10 years ago on Arthur and Merlin. Betkmambetov has not achieved anything since 2021, the year he directed V2: Escape from Hellbut he recently served as producer on the critically maligned film War of the Worlds movie. The creative team may not inspire much enthusiasm, but the cast certainly does.

Only a week later Mercythe science fiction thriller will also have to deal with Jason Stathamthe new film of. The caption of the action will title Shelterwhich will debut in theaters thanks to Black Bear on January 30.

Later this year, Pratt will be seen in the action/adventure family comedy, The Way of the Warrior Kid. The film follows a former Navy SEAL who helps his nephew who is being bullied at school. The Way of the Warrior Kid is coming to the cinema this Christmas. Pratt will also reprise his role as Mario in Super Mario Galaxy moviewhich will be released in theaters next year on April 3. He’s even set to voice Garfield in a sequel to The Garfield Moviebut we don’t yet know when the film will be released.
