EXCLUSIVE: Shia Labeouf should play God of the rodeo, With Giannina Scott producing through her Cara Banner Films and Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss producing via Scott Free Films. The crime thriller was written and produced by Rosalind Ross and is based on Daniel Bergner’s report inside the deadliest prison of the South American.
In the brutal context of the Angola of Louisiana in 1967, Rudeo God Tell the story of Buckkey, a hardened detainee serving a perpetuity sentence who finds a glow of redemption in an improbable opportunity: the very first prison -detained rodeo. While Buckkey and his detained colleagues are preparing for a final understanding of Glory, they face the reality that the rodeo is nothing more than a showcase of gladiators – an exhausting struggle for the survival designed to Rassasir the blood struggle of the public and carry out the delight of the director of Pitié.
Labeouf can currently be seen in Lionsgate SavageWho follows an aging boxer who finds it difficult to escape the grip of a small town while sailing in a fractured relationship with his teenage daughter. The film was created at the Cannes Film Festival last year and plunges into the conflict between a visionary artist looking for a utopian future and those rooted in a regressive status quo, motivated by greed, special interests and partisan conflicts. Ross specification script Barbarous obtained a place on the black list of 2016 and is produced by Atlas Entertainment. She wrote and produced the biographical drama FatherWith and produced by Mark Wahlberg, which was published by Sony Pictures in 2022.
