Shelter prescription in the place issued at Stockton University in Galloway Twp., New Jersey after turning near campus
Galloway Twp., NJ (WPVI) – A shelter prescription on site is in force for the University of Stockton while the police investigate a shooting near the campus.
Police in the canton of Galloway said the shooting took place on W. Jimmie Leeds Road near the Redwood Avenue area around 12:52 p.m. Thursday.
One person was injured and taken to the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Division for treatment.

Police think that the suspect fled the area in a vehicle.
An alert on the website of the University of Stockton indicates that the suspect’s vehicle has entered the driving of Vera King Farris at Jimmie Leeds Road and traveled north on the campus.
The vehicle, described by the police as a white Honda Crv, has not been located. The suspect passenger is a white man with a green shirt and long blond hair, reads the university alert.
The campus community is requested to continue to shelter in place until the police emits a little clear.
