Source: Napheesa Collier torn the ankle ligaments on the Thomas collision

Minnesota Lynx star, Napheesa Collier, underwent a 2nd year tear of three ankle ligaments and a muscle in his tibia during the collision on Friday with Phoenix striker Mercury Alyssa Thomas, a source close to the situation in ESPN.
The injury has a minimum recovery period of six weeks, said the source in ESPN, which means that necklace would not have been able to return this season if the advanced seeded lynx beyond their series of five best against Mercury.
