Shawarma Houmous beef

Creamy houmous fitted with Shawarma seasoned beef!

ingredients
    For the Shawarma beef:
  • 1 chopped beef book (or lamb, or turkey)
  • 1 onion, in dice
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of Shawarma seasoning (link)
  • For houmous:
  • 2 (15 ounces) cans (~ 3 cups) Chickpea, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 Tahini cup
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of lemon juice (~ 1 lemon)
  • salt to taste
instructions
    For the Shawarma beef:
  1. Cook the chopped beef in a large skillet, separating it when it cooks, about 10 minutes, before emptying any excess fat.
  2. Add the onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes,
  3. Add the seasoning of the garlic and the shawarma, mix well and cook for a minute.
  4. For houmous:
  5. Turn everything in a food processor adding as much water as necessary to obtain the desired consistency.

Option: Add 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce with the seasoning.
Option: Add 1 teaspoon of soy sauce with the seasoning.
Option: Serve with dice cucumbers.
Option: Serve with dice tomatoes.
Option: Serve with slices olives.
Option: Serve with pitas for recovery!
