After being accused of rape in April, Shannon Sharpe would have settled Jane Doe’s civil trial on unknown conditions.
The lawyer for the accuser, Tony Buzbee, announced on Friday that the trial will be rejected now that they have “reached a mutually agreed resolution” with the 3x champion of the Super Bowl and the sportsman.
“On April 20, 2025, the Buzbee law firm filed a complaint in Nevada making several allegations against Shannon Sharpe on behalf of our client,” wrote Buzbee on X. “The two parties recognize a consensual and tumultuous relationship. After protrust and respectful negotiations, I am delighted that we have reached a resolution.
Following the trial in April, Sharpe denied allegations and said that rape, suffocation incidents and more in the 13 -page civil prosecution are taken into account and were consensual. His lawyer called the “cynical and cynical attempt to shake Mr. Sharpe for millions of dollars.
The lawyers of the two parties confirmed that Sharpe had previously offered $ 10 million attempted to convince the accuser not to submit the trial.
