Several people from Charlotte airport are taken to hospital for inhalation symptoms, says Medic

Charlotte, NC (WBTV) – Several people were treated on Friday evening at Charlotte airport, according to Medic.
Medical said on Friday, June 27, that seven people were transported to a local hospital and including one with serious symptoms.
The officials said they had treated people for inhalation, but did not say what it was unusual.
Medic said six crew members and a door agent had been transported to hospital.
Officials said there was a possible jet fuel smell on the plane.
“Before boarding the 2055 boarding customers at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), an odor was reported,” said a spokesperson for American Airlines. “The crew members received medical care on site and were transported to a neighboring hospital for a more in -depth assessment. The plane was put out of service and is inspected by our maintenance team. Customers will start a replacement plane soon. ”
