Several people were killed and many others injured after a passenger train derailed in southwest Germany on Sunday, security sources said.
Federal Stuttgart police, the state capital of Baden-Wurtemberg, said several people were injured earlier.
The train derailed near the city of Riedlingen in Baden-Wurtemberg. The rescue teams were on the way to the stage in a hilly and wooded area.
Officials did not say what could have derailed the train.
