Sets of the Infinity October Festival Hollywood Return

Infinity Festival, an event mixing entertainment, technology and games, returns to Hollywood for its eighth annual edition on October 9 and 10.

This year’s edition will be based mainly in two key places along the legendary Los Angeles Museum: the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and the Sony Pictures of Sony News Wipshire newly open. Two senior image frames, the CTO Mike Ford and the Mandy Tankenson production chief come back as co -presidents of the festival.

Deadline presents the festival media sponsor. The sponsors presenting include technological companies HP, NVIDIA and AMD.

This year’s festival will also star the Belgian economic mission under the supervision of Princess HRH Astrid, representative of His Majesty the King, as a special delegation. The princess will officially open the festival, joined by a delegation of 500 leaders in the media industry, entertainment, sports and Belgian games.

This theme of this year is “innovators in the era of change”, in recognition of technologists and creators of AI, immersive media, sports, games and other fields. Two days of windows, projections, demos, AI laboratories and panels will focus on this theme.

Infinity was partly established because of its presentation of the entire production pipeline, from design to the final cup. This scope positions the event as a meeting field for studio leaders, independent creators, students, filmmakers and other stakeholders. The 2024 edition featured the legendary artist of the visual effects Rob Legato, the scientific director of the AGBO, Dominic Hughes and the speakers of Amazon, Nvidia, the partners of the Range media and other companies. Over the years, participants have included Phil Lord & Chris Miller; Brie Larson, Jeff Bridges and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

“For eight years, Infini Festival has been at the forefront of the way technology transforms the narration,” said Mark Lieber, founder and CEO of the Infinity festival, and Adam Newman, director of creation. “We are delighted to return with a dynamic range of sponsors, programming and activations that reflect the evolution of Hollywood and Silicon Valley.”

Ford and Tankenson added in a joint declaration: “Infinity Festival is at the intersection of technology and creativity, bringing together individuals for significant conversations that explore the future of narration.”
