And even though Ritchie’s projects have always been filled with thugs and rebels, MobLandThe first season of brought something even more serious: a Shakespearean detective epic about power, betrayal and inheritance.

How good is “MobLand”?
Collider gave the series a positive review and praised its addition to Paramount+, praising the performances of the actors, particularly Brosnan and Mirren.
MobLand comes to life every time Brosnan and Mirren are on screen. Both performers rely on what we typically expect of them, but it doesn’t take long before we start to lose faith in their characters. They’re evil to begin with, despite what their cunning charisma may tell you, but their relationships with Harry, their family members, and even their own partners are constantly called into question.
Just as Taylor Sheridan demonstrated through shows like Yellow stone And King of TulsaRitchie has a real talent for creating TV shows that will keep you invested. MobLand isn’t a great reinvention of the gangster show, but it offers lots of twists and turns, combined with a magnetic cast it will make you look forward to each new episode.
MobLand Season 2 is currently in production. Season 1 is streaming on Paramount+ and HBO Max.
