Service of the series: Milwaukee Brewers against Atlanta Braves

The Brewers of Milwaukee will continue their longest home of the season as they welcome the Braves of Atlanta in town for three games from Monday evening. The crew has a 2-3 file in their last five, including whitening defeats in two of the three games against the padres during the weekend, while the offensive was radically cooled after a hot section which led to eight consecutive victories. They assume 2.5 games in the last place of NL Wild Card, owned by the Phillies and the Giants, which have records of 37-28 corresponding.
The Braves, at 27-36, lost six consecutive games entering their standard final with the Giants on Sunday because they are 0-6 in June against the Red Sox, D-Backs and Giants. Their racing differential +4 indicates bad luck, however, because their attack and their pitching statistics are ranked in the upper half of the league.
In the injury department, Brandon Woodruff suffered another setback in what was supposed to be his start of final rehabilitation, withdrawing a lining from his elbow. It seems that it is just a bruise, and he will start to launch this week with a return to the end of June possible. The Blake Perkins (Shin Fracture) and Garrett Mitchell (oblique) championships could also be back later this month, while Nestor Cortes targets a return of stars.
For the Braves, they have broken down from a few launchers, because Daysbel Hernández, AJ Smith-Shawver, Reynaldo López and Joe Jiménez are all put aside for long periods, including Tommy John surgery at the end of the season for Smith-Shawver. The Voltner Stuart Fairchild is also on the IL with an injury in hand, while the inner field player Nacho Alvarez Jr. missed all season with a wrist injury.
Christian Yelich leads the Milwaukee offensive with 13 circuits and 41 points produced this season, and he also stole 10 bases. Jackson Chourio seems to be on the way to another 20-20 season with 10 circuits and 13 interceptions in 65 games, while Rhys Hoskins also brough power with nine circuits. The average stick. 293 of Sal FRALLICK opens the way, because it also slipped 12 bases. In the team, the Brewers strike .237 / .315 / .362 (.677 OPS ranks 24th) with 59 circuits (23rd), 292 points scored (11th) and 85 interceptions (second).
The 13 Matt Olson circuits lead the Braves, just ahead of Austin Riley and Marcell Ozuna 10. Ronald Acuña, who returned in May, played in 15 games so far with a solid .315 / .403 / .574 line, hit four houses at home and score. The recipient Drake Baldwin looks like a recruit of the NL of the year because he strikes. 306 / .354 / .512 with seven circuits, 18 products produced and 14 points scored in 41 games this year. In the team, the Braves strike .243 / .317 / .385 (.702 OPS ranks 15th) with 68 circuits (equal to the 14th), 259 points marked (equally in the 21st) and 36 interceptions (26th).
The 32 apparitions of Jared Koenig Excess the 31 games of Abner Uibe, although Uibe leads the team with an MPM of 1.48 and 41 stick withdrawals in 30 years in 30 years 1⁄3 sleeves. Nick Mears, Grant Anderson and Trevor Megill were also solid, the return of DL Hall and Aaron Ashby offering a much necessary depth. As a staff, the Brewers have an MPM of 3.82 (14th), including a starter era of 3.35 (fifth) and an era of 4.39 lift (22nd). They withdrew 540 strikers (15th) in 584 1⁄3 sleeves.
Dylan Lee leads the Enclosure of the Braves with 29 appearances this year, withdrawing 27 and sporting an MPM of 2.25 in 28 sleeves. Enyel de Los Santos made 26 appearances with an MPM of 2.93 and the pierce Johnson (3.86 ERA on 23. 1⁄3 Sleeves), Daysbel Hernández (2.22 ERA out of 24 1⁄3 sleeves) and Aaron Bummer (2.73 ERA on 26 1⁄3 sleeves) were also key weapons. Closer Raisel Iglesias had a difficult season, with an MPM of 6.75 and 25 stick withdrawals in 24 rounds. It also has only 8 for 12 in backup opportunities. As a staff, the brave have an ERA of 3.81 (13th), including a starter era of 3.73 (14th) and an era of 3.90 lift (17th). They withdrew 558 strikers (10th) in 561 2⁄3 sleeves.
Probable launchers
Monday June 9 at 6:40 p.m.: Aaron Civale (5.19 ERA, 5.49 FIP) against Chris Sale (2.93 ERA, 2.92 FIP)
Initially scheduled for Sunday, CIVALE exchanged places with Freddy Peralta when he was pushed back to the start of Monday. Despite its high brand of the era, CIVAL has presented better than these figures indicate it. Since he granted five points in three work rounds against the Yankees in April, he made three other starts, which led to two points or less and all led to victories for the crew. His last departure came against the Reds, when he gave two points on seven strokes and a walk with five stick withdrawals on a 5 1st round summit, winning his first victory of the year. This is his first career start against the Braves.
Reigning winner NL Cy Young, Sale took a very small step back this year, with an MPM of 2.93 (2.38 ERA in 2024) and 2.92 FIP (2.09 FIP in 2024). At 13 departures, he withdrew 96 strikers in 73 2⁄3 sleeves, but he doesn’t get much support for racing because he has a record of 3-4 this year. He gave a point or less in each of his last four departures, granting three points in total in 26 rounds with 32 stick withdrawals. His latest start was good, allowing a point with 10 stick withdrawals in six work sleeves, although he ended up taking the defeat. He made four career debut against Brewers, with an MPM of 2.05 and 34 stick withdraws on 26 1⁄3 sleeves.
Tuesday June 10 at 6:40 p.m.: Quinn Priestter (3.88 ERA, 4.58 FIP) against Grant Holmes (3.99 ERA, 4.55 FIP)
Despite some trembling appearances, Priestter was solid overall for the crew. He granted three points or less in each of his last six appearances, including five solid rounds against the Reds on Tuesday. He gave a point on two strokes and three walks in it, withdrawing four when he won his third victory of the year. During the last two times that Prieester has been released, he did not start, however, because Pat Murphy used DL Hall as a opening match of several rounds in the two games, a combination that has worked well so far (a 6-2 victory on the phillies and a 9-1 victory on the Reds). He made a career start to the brave, granting four points and withdrawing four in four rounds with the pirates in August 2023.
Holmes, 29, is in his second season after making 26 appearances (seven departures) last year. In 13 games (12 departures) this year, he has an MPM of 3.99, 4.55 FIP and 68 stick withdrawals out of 67 2⁄3 sleeves. He granted three points or less in each of his last five departures, including three deserved points and four stick withdraws out of 3 1⁄3 Sleeve against D-Backs during his last departure. This season, he made an appearance against the Brewers, his first career departure last July. He granted a race and withdrew eight in five rounds from that one.
Wednesday June 11 at 1:10 p.m.: Chad Patrick (2.84 ERA, 3.23 FIP) against Spencer Schwellenbach (3.24 ERA, 3.25 FIP)
Patrick, 26, continues to impress while he pleads to stay in the majors on the return from Brandon Woodruff. At 14 games (13 departures), the recruit has an MPM of 2.84, 3.23 FIP and 63 stick withdrawals on 69 2⁄3 sleeves. Although it is not the most flashy launcher, it was very effective, granting three points or less with each appearance this season. During his last departure against the Padres, he granted a race and withdrew six out of six work rounds. This is his first career start against the Braves.
Schwellenbach, 25, is also in his second season with the Braves. He made 21 departures a year ago, with a solid 3.35 MPM, 3.29 FIP and 127 stick withdrawals on 123 2⁄3 sleeves. It has essentially reproduced these figures so far in 2025, with an MPM of 3.24, 3.25 FIP and 75 stick withdraws out of 80 2⁄3 sleeves in 13 starts. He made six rounds against the giants his last time, granting four points (three deserved) with four stick withdrawals in a decision without a decision. This is his first beginning of a career against Brewers.

Prediction
Braves are always a difficult match, even if their under 500 record suggests the opposite. I’m going to take the crew to escape with two victories while going to 3-3 on the Homesand entering their last stage of four games against the Cardinals.
