Serena Williams celebrates the future of Gucci in a semi-camon black dress

Serena Williams accessed her creator outfit, wearing a semi-camon black dress with feathered embellishments at the premiere of “The Tiger”, a short film directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn before Demna’s first collection in the spring of 2026 during the Milan Fashion Week on Tuesday.

The 23 time Grand Chelem champion and the founder of Wyn Beauty put on a long sleeve dress with a light train for the starry occasion. Williams’ dress was made from a semi-caliber fabric that allowed the Gucci logo to be seen.

The hem of her dress, the cuffs at the end of the sleeves and the neck neckline included a black and gray plumage. The feathered embellishments offered an additional depth and volume to the look of Williams, raising the luxurious quality of the dress.

The appearance of Williams during the premiere of “The Tiger” coincides with the first collection of Demna as a new artistic director of Gucci, a position to which he was appointed in March. Demna was previously creative director of Balenciaga.

“I think that a lot of expectations for me here, in general, are that I come here and that I make oversized jackets and put logos on it. Why should I come to Gucci to do what I did before? ” Demna told Luisa Zargani de WWD in an exclusive interview. “I have the impression that it is superficial to expect me. For me, the people who expect this, they don’t really know, artistically, who I am. If someone thinks that I will come here and make an oversized bomber with a GG monogram, it means that they have not understood anything about my work so far. ”

Thinking in the future of her future collections with the Italian luxury fashion house, Demna told WWD: “I think I am very lucky to have the balance between the multitude of codes from A to Z, a bamboo moccasin and everything between the two, and the bristles and the flora and all that, but also to have this own slate on what I can new.
