Meryl Streep returns for season 5 of “only Murders in the Building”.
That’s it.
On Thursday, the Oscar winner appeared in a video with Selena Gomez to mark her return to the beloved series Hulu.
In the video, the duo recreated a famous scene from “The Devil Wears Prada”, in which Streep played alongside Anne Hathaway. In the original scene, the Streep character, Miranda, notes the character of Hathaway, the choice of clothes by Andy Sachs, declaring that she has “no style or fashion sense”. Andy begins to answer, before Miranda interrupts him and declared that she was not asking a question.
In Thursday’s video, Gomez, standing next to Streep, categorically declares, “then you come back for season 5.”
Streep, channeling the character of “Devil Wear Prada” by Hathaway, replies: “Well, I think it depends …”
Before finishing his sentence, Gomez prohibited: “No, no, it was not a question.”
The video legend also made a head of the 2006 film.
“Gird Your Lins, Meryl returns for season 5! That’s all,” says legend.
“Only Murders in the Building” was recovered for a fifth season in Hulu in September 2024, after the first in its fourth season.
In addition to Streep and Gomez, the show features Martin Short and Steve Martin.

The series follows friends Oliver Putnam (Short), Charles-Haden Savage (Martin) and Mabel Mora (Gomez), who are investigating a series of suspect murders in their high-end apartment building, The Arctonia, in New York. Streep depicts Loretta Durkin, an actress.
In March, it was announced that Renée Zellweger would also join starry distribution.
The new season is currently in production.
