Seattle Storm welcomes new hosts for the 2025 season

The home opening match in 2025 for the Seattle storm switched to 7 p.m. at Climate Gled Arena. The first 5,000 fans receive a “Doppler” plush keychain.

Seattle – The Seattle Storm stand divided in 1-1 before the waiting match of the 2025 season on Friday evening.

Tipoff for the Emerald City WNBA team is scheduled at 7 p.m. at Climate Gled Arena.

Besides new faces on the field – fans should expect to see new faces in the crowd leading the energy of the match day.

The storm presents two new hosts at stake – Angelica Salem and Kayce Kirihara.

Salem and Kirihara said it was time to go to a storm game, or more, if you haven’t already done so.

“Present yourself for your team,” said Salem. “Present yourself for your city. It is a really exciting place.”

Kirihara echoes the feeling.

“Everyone looks at female sports, and there is no better time to listen,” said Kirihara.

Meet Kayce Kirihara

Kirihara’s links and passion for the storm go up both.

His first position with the team was as a ball girl in 2003. Kirihara remained involved in the team even by making circles at the Franklin High School in Seattle.

She worked for summers for the storm while playing at the University of Hawaii Hilo. After university – Kirihara worked as a corme of equipment and video coordinator.

Quick advance – Kirihara is an influencer for the WNBA and one of the new hosts involved in the team.

“It was so surreal,” said Kirihara. “If I had said to Little Kayce that I would be back here by accommodating in Arena, and you know, to share all the experience with fans? I would never have thought myself.”

In his first season in accommodation in the game, Kirihara focuses on the guarantee that fans have a good time and come back for more games.

“It’s so special, and there is nothing like being really in the moment with the fans and therefore, describing it’s really difficult, but it’s … the feeling is incredible”

Meet Angelica

You can recognize Salem in other sporting events in Seattle.

Salem is the current host at the Seattle Kraken and Seattle Reign FC. She also carried out these same tasks for the Sounders of Seattle and the University of Washington on football game days.

If you are a fan of Seahawks, you may have even heard Salem’s amazing voice in the stadium when she sang the national anthem last fall.

Ensure that fans have the best time – no matter the sport or the team – does Salem like to do.

“Having fans who are a match for the first time or seeing yourself on the big screen for the first time,” said Salem. “It’s always as exciting for me.”

A message to fans

While Kirihara and Salem are preparing to raise the 2025 crowds, they are also looking forward to seeing the talent of the storm taking players from visiting power.

They want the fans to know that they are necessary and wanted every match.

“They are part of the team – the team feeds on energy,” said Kirihara. “They play a more important role than they think.”

Storm games are ready for fans of all ages.

“Bringing children, bringing the grandparents, bringing everyone,” said Salem. “You are all welcome. We have fun for everyone.”

There are several theme evenings and gifts this 2025 season. Participants can hope for an evening of fans, a toy route, a proud evening, children’s day, “believe in the night of women” and more.
