The house of Seattle of rapper Macklemore was robbed during the weekend by masked men who attacked the nanny with Spray bears, the police said.
Seattle police were sent to the house at 12:48 p.m. Saturday after a call by a woman who identified as a nanny and said two men had intercarted. She told the police that she had been able to get out of the house, but that three children were still inside.
A police report expurgated the name of the owner of the house, but said that it belonged to a “very publicized person”. The address indicated in the report seems to correspond to that of Macklemore’s voting file, the Seattle Times reported. Part of the report also left the surname “Davis” – the same family name as Macklemore’s wife.
It is not clear if the artist, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, was at home at the time. He had performances in Ireland on June 4 and 5.
The nanny told the police that the break -in had occurred after putting the children in bed on the second floor. She said it was on the ground floor when she saw “two men enter a terrace door”.
The men wore masks, black clothes, vests that seemed tactical and gloves and wore mass cans, she told the police.
A larger man ordered a shorter to “spray” her and he did it, according to a police report. Then he tried to help clean his face, said the nanny to the police, adding: “She thought she saw her eyes and thought he was afraid.”
The nanny said that the larger man shouted: “Where are the jewelry?” According to the police report.
The woman directed them to the master bedroom of the house, where they raked the drawers, cupboards and the closet, the police said. The nanny told the police “that they have taken many watches, jewelry and shoes they put in bags,” said the police report.
He was ordered to keep his hands raised and face a mirror, police said. At one point, the shorter man threw him on the ground and put a boot on his ankle, then at the back of his neck and took his phone, she told the police.
The nanny began to shout and was pinned against a wall, the shortest holding her closed mouth, according to the police report. She tried to give the shortest kick in the groin but could not see so she bit her hard on her hand, making her let go. The nanny then missed the house and hit the doors of many neighbors before someone opens the door and calls him the police, according to the report.
The men had left when the police searched the home and withdrew the children, officials said. The family arrived and took the children to a neighboring residence.
A passerby told an officer who replied that he had seen a man carrying all black flowing to the west through the sites north of the house.

Macklemore is married to Tricia Davis and they share three young children.
