Bob is in the towel will soon surface in Hollywood.
AFI Fest has confirmed today that it will host the world first of The film SpongeBob: Search for squares De Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Films on the day of closure, October 26.
Produced in association with Domain Entertainment and MRC, the film directed by Derek Drymon follows everyone’s favorite underwater sponge when he spreads to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs following the Dutchman flying in an adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea where no sponge has been before. Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, George Lopez, Ice Spice, Arturo Castro and Sherry Cola, with Regina Hall and Mark Hamill, lend their voices to the animated photo, which will be published on December 19.
The president and chief executive officer of the AFI, Bob Gazzale, “SpongeBob is an American icon – absorbent and yellow and porous is – and Affi is honored to welcome this celebration under the sea.”
Also revealed today is a start to Los Angeles for the short film Ninja Turtles Chrome Alone 2: Lost in New Jersey. Directed by Kent Seki and produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Jeff Rowe and Ramsay McBean, the film follows the brothers as they follow the clues of New Jersey after a mysterious toy company seeks to enjoy the status of hero of the Turtles.
The AFI Fest, presented by Canva, will take place from October 22 to 26 in the Chinese theaters TCL of Hollywood. He will offer a selection of projections of first Red Carpet, special projections, global cinema, documentaries and short films. Complete programming will be revealed on September 30. As previously announced, Guillermo Del Toro is confirmed as a guest artistic director. The festival will open with Springsteen: Delive Me de Nowhere With Jeremy Allen White as an emblematic rocker. The other first high levels include Song Song Song With Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson.
