Google Translate would have added the integration of AI, the Duolingo type game elements

Google Translate could soon get significant AI improvements, such as the possibility of selecting different AI models and a game mode similar to a game, according to a Android police report on Monday.

The Android analyst, Asseerbug, examined the latest version of Google Translate from the application, version 9.15.114, and found what seems to be new modifications to the user interface. At the top, there is a new model selector, fast and advanced. Fast would probably be for rapid translation tasks, such as deciphering menu elements. Advanced will probably use Gemini to understand the context of a text or a conversation with more precision

According to the report, the update will also include a mode of practice to help gamify language learning, similar to that used in the popular language application.

Over the past two years, Google has presented various demos and release features to facilitate the interpretation of language. At Google I / S earlier this year, the technology giant has shown a live translation demonstration that could look like someone wearing a pair of its Android XR intelligent glasses.

With the launch of the Pixel fold in 2023, the company also published a live interpreter mode which used the interior and exterior screens of the device.
