Jasprit Bumrah, subject to injuries, has only played 64% of India tests since its inception

Jasprit Bumrah is widely considered the best bowler in the world and has mainly contributed to the success of India tests in Sena countries.

2021 saw him undergo an abdominal tension, due to which he missed the decisive test against Australia, in Brisbane. Another back injury saw him miss the series of Australian at home in 2023. In fact, he could not participate in the WTC final against Australia.

Overall, Bumrah has missed 26 tests so far, in his career, due to injury and rest. It is an amazing 36% of the total games, India played during this period – 72 in all. In the matches it has played, India won 20 and lost 22. While in those it is not there, India won 18 and lost 5.
