San Antonio Spurs vs. Phoenix Suns Player Stats and Box Score (November 23)

The injury-riddled San Antonio Spurs got another chance against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. Without Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper, the Spurs were hoping to gain revenge after losing 130-118 to the Suns earlier this month. De’Aaron Fox, Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson will lead the visiting team, which has won three straight since Wemby suffered a calf injury.

The Spurs trailed early before leading most of the game. San Antonio’s balanced scoring, led by Luke Kornet and De’Aaron Fox, gave them a 30-25 advantage after the first quarter. Phoenix shot 2 of 13 from deep, a key reason it couldn’t hold on to the lead.

Fox had help from across the team to keep the Spurs in control at halftime. Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson and Carter Bryant came off the bench to combine for 16 points to help the team take a 56-49 lead after two quarters.

Dillon Brooks and Devin Booker combined for 22 points, seven rebounds and two assists. The Suns weren’t as aggressive from the 3-point line in the second quarter, going 2-for-4 from that distance.
