Same lineup as the Devils Go for 8 in a row | PREVIEW

THE SCOOPER

After starting their season with a loss in Carolina, the Devils saw their schedule collapse. Against a plethora of tough opponents, New Jersey rode a seven-game winning streak for the first time since the fall of 2022. The Devils beat Tampa Bay, Columbus, Florida, Edmonton, Toronto, Minnesota and San Jose.

The Devils will complete a three-game homestand when they host Colorado on Sunday afternoon. The club has received contributions from everyone, despite the injury bug taking hold and the constant roster shuffling.

The Avalanche headed east for a quick kickoff. They lost 3-2 in Boston on Saturday night before facing the Devils on Sunday. The loss to the Bruins was the Avs’ first regulation loss this season. Goaltender Scott Wedgewood started against the Bruins, so the Devils will likely face Trent Miner in net.
