Sam Rockwell may have abandoned “Gi Jane”, but he got a good story before him.
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Thursday evening, Rockwell remembered a party organized by the star of “Gi Jane” Demi Moore for everyone as Navy Seal in the film – that he was at the time. The actor finished the night with a shaved head.
“Demi Moore had just done” striptease “, the film, and she obtained a band joint, and she obtained all the stripper and the Navy Seals and the actors and drank us on Tequila,” said Rockwell. “And they shaved their heads – the and a half stripper shaved our heads, and we got drunk with the Navy Seals and obtained dances.”
Kimmel was shocked that the actor bowed from the film after that. Rockwell explained that the film involved so much time in the water and that it was “really thin at the time”, that he ended up living an “early hypothermia”. That and another thing.
“I missed my girlfriend and wanted to get out of there, so I did the training camp, then I separated,” he said.
Despite the abandonment of the film, there was no bad blood between him and the director of “Gi Jane”, Ridley Scott. The two finally worked together when Rockwell was thrown into “Matchstick Men” in 2003.
Rockwell is considered a shoe for the Emmy season in the exceptional support actor in a category of dramatic series. He appeared as Frank – the distant friend of the character of Walton Goggins Rick in season 3 of “The White Lotus”. His partner Leslie Bibb also played in the season as Kate.
