Konstas chose “Best in the World” Steve Smith for his off-turn, and Virat Kohli for his exceptional bracelet and her leg game. Konstas also revealed that he had grown up watching and idolizing the Indian star.
“Ab de Villiers with an assault … He strikes 360 and takes the game. Steve Smith – the best player in the world in my opinion … A great honor by playing with him. Kohli – Yeah, I think his wrists are incredible, to be honest. The way he accesses the legs … I grew up watching him play. Big Idol,” said Konstas.

Konstas also credited Jos Buttler for helping to improve his striker, adding that he had learned by watching the videos of the star of England. He chose Jos Buttler while doing his perfect dough for his ramp shot.
“I watched a lot of videos … So thank you buttler for them,” he said with a smile.

Konstas scored 60 out of 52 balls when he started testing. The ICC then penalized Kohli with a fine of 20% on its match costs and a demerit point for having violated the code of conduct. Although Konstas did not react to the incident at the time, he responded in the best possible way.
Will Sam Konstas cement his place as a test of Australian test?
Sam Konstas struggled to maintain its shape during the rest of the India series and was excluded from the team for the Tournée du Sri Lanka. He was also excluded from the XI playing in the WTC final against South Africa, where Australia chose to open with Marnus Labuschagne and Usman Khawaja.
The pair failed to provide solid departures and the team finally suffered a defeat. With Labuschagne which fell from the XI Playing, Konstas should open its doors alongside Khawaja in the next series of tests against the Antilles.
Australia, led by Pat Cummins, is expected to start its world testing world testing championship 2025-2010 with a series of three-game tests in the Caribbean. The first test will start on Wednesday June 25 in Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
