Wednesday evening, the Diamondbacks of Arizona Diamondbacks will turn to right -handed Ryne Nelson against the Brewers of Milwaukee while the Arizona tries to bounce back with difficult defeats in the first two games of the series.
Nelson (6-3, 3.63 ERA) will oppose the right-hander Quinn PRIESTER (11-2, 3.44), which has won its last 10 decisions.
The Brewers won the second match in the 9-8 series Tuesday evening on the sacrifice bag of Isaac Collins with the bases loaded with the ninth round. The heroism came after Milwaukee exploded a six -point lead.
William Contreras and Brice Turang had two -point circuits for the Brewers. Gabriel Moreno, who came out of the 60 -day injured list on Friday, had a three -point circuit that sparked Arizona’s return, but it was nothing.

The 10 consecutive victories decisions of Priestter equalize Chris Bosio and Cal Eldred for the longest sequence of victories for a launcher in the history of the franchise.
Priter is 8-2 with an MPM of 3.01 as a starter this season, and 3-0 with an MPM of 5.06 from the enclosure of the Lights.
During his career, Priestter is 0-1 against Arizona, with the loss of July 27, 2024, when he launched for the Pirates of Pittsburgh. He granted five points on five strokes and two goals on balls in four rounds.
Turang, which has 15 circuits for the season, leads the national league with nine circuits in August. He strikes .349 during the month, with six doubles and 23 points produced.
Nelson has not won in six departures since his last victory on July 19. It is 0-0 with an MPM of 5.40 in four departures in August, granting 14 points in 23 1/3 rounds. It lasted at least 5 1/3 sleeves in each of these departures and came out with the head each time, but only one was a start of quality.
This came in his last departure when he granted three points in six rounds, but did not obtain the decision during a 6-5 victory against the Cincinnati Reds in 11 rounds on Friday.
Nelson’s only career departure against Milwaukee arrived in 2023 when he granted three points in five rounds but did not get a decision.
Corbin Carroll made two strokes on Tuesday to extend his strike sequence at 13 games. He strikes .333 over this period with four doubles, two triples, a circuit and five points produced.
Geraldo Perdomo equaled the match on Tuesday with a double with two withdrawals in the eighth. In 24 games in August, Perdomo hits 0.360 with three circuits, five doubles, two triples and 11 products.
“There is no consolation,” said Arizona Torey Lovullo manager. “We want to win baseball matches. This is what we came here. We are a good baseball team.”
