- 🎧 A key evidence in the trial will be a 12 -page letter Roth left with a friend who was then given to the authorities, says Greg Allen of NPR First. Allen says prosecutors intend to show only the first page to the jury. On this page, Routh wrote: “Dear people, it was an attempted assassination on Donald Trump, but I failed you.” Roth wants the jury to see the full text and said in a motion to judge Aileen Cannon that “each line concerns sweetness, peace and non -violent care for humanity”. Cannon says she will wait to reign at her request.

Living better is a special series On what it takes to stay healthy in America.
More than half of Americans will have hypertension, or high blood pressure, at 40. This is the main cause of heart disease, which is the cause 1 of death for men and women in the country. The condition is also linked to an increased risk of kidney disease and dementia. Because you cannot feel the pressure in your blood vessels, the condition is often called silent killer. Here are the latest advice from health professionals on how to treat it: 🩸 New guidelines include the councils of several decades on the advantages of a low sodium diet. They also focus on lifestyle changes such as exercise, stress reduction and alcohol limitation.
🩸 Evidence shows that people with a systolic blood pressure of 140 or more would benefit from the taking of two drugs. Research shows that a drug alone is often not enough to lower blood pressure to the desired beach.
🩸 Diuretics are often used to treat hypertension by helping the body get rid of the additional salt and water. ECA inhibitors block the production of a hormone called angiotensin II and help to relax blood vessels and calcium channel blockers that slow down calcium movement into cells, which can help reduce pressure.
🩸 A new drug targeting a hormone that helps regulate liquid and sodium in the body arouses interest. The drug is not yet available, but the new results of the study could open the way to a new treatment option for hypertension.

Scott Simon de NPR recently made a trip to the store to try the art of slicing salmon – a task that generally takes employees for three months to learn. Read the rich story and the new kitchen book of the store, savor delicious photos and take one of the new recipes. You’re going to want to eat a bagel afterwards.
