Rumor: Marvel “knows whoever they want” play the new t’challa

Although we have always heard anything official, Marvel Studios would be looking for an actor to play a new vision of Téchalla in the Marvel cinematographic universe.

Although the initial rumor suggested that Kevin Feige and Co. planned to introduce a variant of the same character as the late Chadwick Boseman was described, he seems more likely that the studio is actually launching an actor for the role of T’Challa’s original son (Toussaint, alias Prince T’Challa), which we met at the end of Black panther:: Wakanda forever.

We have heard that Marvel has already approached some actors to play the character – including Snowfall Breakout Damson Idris – but may have struggled to fulfill the role (this is not a little thing to follow in the footsteps of Boseman, after all). Has the studio finally found their man?

On the episode of this week of The hot microJeff Sneider says he heard that Marvel “knows who they want” play the new Black Panther. Although he emphasizes that he has no interior information, he thinks it could be Alien: Romulus Star David Jonsson.

This is not the first time that we have heard the name of Jonsson mentioned as part of a potential Marvel role, and Marvel is not the only studio that would be eager to work with him following his exceptional performances in Romulus.

Whoever ends up accepting the role, the new T’Challa should make his debut in one of the next Avengers movies before playing a more important role in Black Panther 3.

Here is what director Ryan Coogler had to say about the prospect of redesign T’Challa in an interview in 2022.

“For me, to say that we considered the overhaul as an option is a complicated thing even to say / because, as, with these films, just like my work as a director, I do not think that people fully appreciate a job that is not theirs. Time.

“My truth is that Chadwick has disappeared from the physical meaning; He did not cross this door. And the world we have created over the years, he was the guy. So, for someone else to be him – for us in the world we have created – we would not have believed him. It doesn’t matter how much the gift and curse of life.
