Rudy GUITY Guilian is recovering from a terrifying car accident.
The former mayor of New York was hospitalized after being involved in an engine vehicle accident on the evening of August 20 in the New Hampshire, during which he would have been struck from behind on the highway after having stopped to help a victim of domestic violence.
“Before the incident, he was reported by a woman who was the victim of an incident of domestic violence,” said Giuliani’s security chief Michael Ragusa wrote in a shared press release in Instagram on August 31. “Mayor Giuliani immediately provided help and contacted 911.”
“He stayed on the scene until the arrival of the officers who replied to ensure his security,” the statement continued. “After that, during his trips to the highway, the vehicle of the mayor Giuliani was struck from behind at high speed.”
According to the declaration, the 81 -year -old man was then transported to a nearby trauma center and diagnosed with fractured thoracic vertebrae, several lacerations and bruises as well as injuries to his left arm and at his bottom of the leg.
