RSV navigation to help protect the health of our babies: the story of a mother and expert information

Expert perspective on RSV

After the story of Charzell, the panel went to a discussion with Dr. Jasmine
Weiss, certified pediatrician and assistant pediatric professor at the
University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She pointed out how RSV symptoms can look like other diseases, including colds. “Symptoms tend to occur in stages,” she said, urging families to be vigilant about the recognition of symptoms such as the difficulty in breathing and reducing appetite and seeking medical care.
