Telemundo Houston, KTMD, will present a special edition of one hour from Noticias Telemundo Houston on Tuesday June 3 at 4 p.m. Central time.
Entitled “Mesa de Análisis, Insmigración y Tus derechos”, dissemination will focus on recent developments in immigration law and policy. It will be the third episode of the forum, which will also be broadcast on Noticias Telemundo Texas, a free streaming news channel supported by advertising.
The special will be anchored by Crystal Ayala and Ingrid Barrera and will include group discussions with immigration lawyers, legal experts and community leaders. The programmed panelists are Naimeh Salem, Beatriz Trillos, Silvia Mintz, David Donatti, Teodoro Aguluz and César Espinoza.
The subjects will include expulsion procedures, the application of the law on extraterrestrial enemies, the registration of immigrants and recent decrees having an impact on access to housing loans, legal assistance for minors and the sharing of data between government agencies. The program will also respond to concerns concerning local cooperation of the application of laws with the immigration authorities and visa problems affecting students and international workers.
The program will be replayed during the weekend on other regional Telemundo News streaming channels, including Noticias Telemundo California, Noticias Telemundo Florida and Noticias Telemundo Noreste.
As part of Telemundo’s “Insmigración Y Tus Derechos” initiative, the special aims to provide viewers with immigration rights. Additional broadcasts are planned on various stations according to telemundo across the country, including points of sale in San Antonio, El Paso and Sacramento. Viewers are encouraged to consult the local lists for broadcasting hours.
