Los Angeles Angels manager Ron Washington will remain on medical leave the rest of the season, the team announced on Friday.
Ray Montgomery will manage the team for 2025, and Ryan Gois will be his bench coach.
Washington, 73, was put on leave last Friday due to a non -disclosed medical problem. Longtime long -standing coach and an indefinite field instructor, Washington was director of the Texas Rangers from 2007 to 2014.
He was in his second year of management of angels.
